At approximately 1:00 a.m. on December 2, 2018, police were dispatched to the intersection of Elphinstone Street and 2nd Avenue for a call of a firearm being discharged. Two adult males were riding their bicycles on 2nd Avenue when a white Ford Escape began following them near the Elphinstone Street intersection.
At one point, the vehicle drew near the victims, and a single round from a firearm was fired at the victims through an open window of the suspect SUV. No one was injured in the incident as the bullet did not strike either victim.
Police attended the location and searched the area in an attempt to locate any potential suspects, but at this time have yet to locate or identify any suspects.
The investigation is continuing at this time.
