A male from Fort Qu’Appelle is facing charges relating to stolen property after an arrest on November 20, 2018.
On November 13, 2018, police received a report of a theft of rims and tires from a business on the 1300 block of Broad Street. Investigation into the theft led police to a residence on the 2000 block of Elliot Street on November 20, 2018. A search of the residence yielded the stolen property, valued at approximately $20,000. A male suspect was arrested in relation to the theft.
Thirty-six year-old Ryan Scott DIETER of Fort Qu’Appelle is charged with:
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 [355(A) CC];
- Trafficking in property obtained by crime over $5000 [355.2 CC]; and
- Fail to comply with recognizance [145(3) CC].
DIETER appeared in Provincial Court for these charges on November 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
