The Regina Police Service is investigating a vehicle/pedestrian collision that occurred in Regina on October 31, 2018.
On October 31, 2018, at approximately 3:40 p.m., police were dispatched to the area of 2800 block of Dewdney Avenue East for a report of a collision in which a three year-old male child was hit by a truck. The investigation revealed the child ran out into traffic and was struck at a low speed by the truck. Fortunately, it appeared the child sustained only minor injuries, but he was taken to hospital by EMS for further assessment. The immediate area was shut down for a period of time but has since been re-opened.
