A 20 year-old female from Estevan made an appearance in Provincial Court today charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine.
On October 30, 2018, at about 10:48 a.m., police were dispatched to a call for service in the area of the 2000 block of Broder Street. Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle leaving the area and found that the female driver had an outstanding warrant for driving while disqualified. She was also found to be a suspended driver. The suspect was placed under arrest and, in the search incident to her arrest, police found a significant quantity of a substance believed to be methamphetamine. Investigation led to charges against this individual.
Twenty year-old Kaylee Heddie TURNBULL, of Estevan, SK, is charged with Breach of Probation [733.1(1) CC] and Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (methamphetamine) [5(2) CDSA]. TURNBULL made her first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2018.
