On October 26, 2018 at approximately 6:45 p.m. police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Albert Street for a report of a business robbery.
A lone male suspect had entered the business and was carrying a firearm. The suspect demanded money and was given an unknown amount. Through further investigation, Officers were able to locate and apprehend the suspect without incident. There were no injuries sustained during the robbery.
Thirty three year-old Benjamin GUIL, of Regina, is charged with:
- Armed Robbery using a Firearm [CC 344 (1)(A.1)];
- Use of a Firearm during a Commission of an Indictable Offence [CC 85(1) (a)];
- Breach of Probation [CC 733.1(1)
Benjamin GUIL will be held in custody and make his first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court on October 29, 2018 at 9:30 am.
