The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, has begun a death investigation, with the death of an adult male who was taken to hospital the night of October 23, 2018. Police were dispatched to an incident in the 2800 block of Sinton Avenue just after 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23rd, in which a 21 year-old male sustained injuries that were described as life-threatening. EMS transported the injured male to hospital.
Investigators received word, just after 6:00 a.m. this morning, that the male had passed away. His identity is known and his family members have been notified of his death. The name of the deceased person will not be released at this stage in this investigation.
Regina Police Service investigators are working with the Office of the Chief Coroner to clarify the circumstances of the male’s death.
