Three adult males are facing drug trafficking and proceeds charges after enforcement in relation to a cannabis dispensary in Regina. This location, and a residence, were the subjects of CDSA search warrants on August 24, 2018. Three adult males were charged at that time.
On September 14, 2018, after complaints that a cannabis dispensary in the 2100 block of Albert Street was once again active, members of the Regina Drug Unit conducted enforcement at that location. Police executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) warrant at that location and seized a large quantity of product and cash. This resulted in the arrests of three individuals, who were subsequently charged and held for court.
Fifty year-old Gerald Dominic DESJARLAIS, of Regina, 38 year-old Vincent Regan John SAYER, of Silton, SK, and 26 year-old Dyllan Joseph Jacob WILLIAMSON, of Regina, are jointly charged with the following offences:
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance (cannabis marihuana) for the Purpose of Trafficking [5(2) CDSA];
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance (cannabis resin) for the Purpose of Trafficking [5(2) CDSA]; and
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000 [355(a) CC].
All three accused will make their court appearances on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, September 17, 2018.
