Police are investigating a single-vehicle collision that occurred in the early morning of September 11, 2018 in the north-end of the city.
At approximately 1:36 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, police were dispatched to a call for service in the area of 9th Avenue North and Pinkie Road. It appeared that a vehicle was travelling westbound on 9th Avenue North and struck a barricade at the intersection of 9th Avenue North and Pinkie Road.
Regina Fire and Protective Services attended and extinguished a vehicle fire. Officers at the scene requested EMS and established that the driver was the only occupant of the vehicle. The driver was taken to hospital by EMS for treatment. The incident is still under investigation.
