On August 27, 2018 at approximately 11:27 pm, the Regina Police service was dispatched to the area of 800 Broad Street North for a report of a single-vehicle collision. EMS was also dispatched to the call.
The preliminary investigation indicates the northbound vehicle collided with a tree in the area, resulting in significant damage to the vehicle. Five occupants, including the driver, were transported by EMS to area hospitals with various injuries, none of which appeared to be life-threatening. Forensic Identification and Traffic Reconstruction investigators were requested to assist at the scene. As a result, traffic in the area may have been restricted for a few hours. This collision is still under investigation.
