A twenty-seven year old female is charged with attempted murder after police responded to a call of a home invasion in the early morning on Sunday, August 26, 2018.
On Sunday, August 26, 2018, around 6:00 a.m., police were called to the 1500 block of Rae Street for a report of a break and enter. Upon their arrival, officers located an injured male. EMS was called and attended to the injured male. The male was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious.
Through the investigation, police have arrested and charged a twenty-seven year-old female.
Twenty-seven year-old Samantha Marlene KAKAKAWAY of Regina is charged with:
- Attempted murder [239 CC]; and
- Failure to comply with probation order [733.1 (1) CC].
KAKAKAWAY made her appearance in Provincial Court on August 27, 2018 at 9:30 a.m.
