Another fun-filled week of rides, entertainment, and food has come to an end. August 5, 2018, the last day of the Queen City Ex, opened with a free pancake breakfast to the public; over 4,000 plates of food were served by volunteers including Regina Police members.
This year’s Queen City Ex drew crowds of thousands of people each day. Over the course of the week, the Regina Police Service worked in partnership with Queen City Ex security staff to ensure the safety of attendees and to assist those in need. Police attended to incidents including public intoxication, breaking up fights, returning lost children to their guardians, and arrests on warrants. Overall, there were no major incidents reported to police.
The Regina Police Service would like to extend its appreciation to all the event organizers and staff for working with police to maintain public safety for all those who attended this year’s Queen City Ex.
