A thirty-seven year old male is facing charges in connection to two robberies that occurred on August 5, 2018.
In the original news release, on August 5, 2018, at approximately 6:00 p.m., police were dispatched to a business on the 4100 block of Albert Street responding to a robbery. A male had shown an employee a weapon and demanded money from the register. The suspect then fled the scene on foot with an undetermined amount of money before police arrived. Later that same day at approximately 10:45 p.m., police were dispatched to the 3800 block of Albert Street for a report of a robbery. A male matching the description of the suspect in the robbery on the 4100 block of Albert Street entered the business, indicated that he had a weapon, and demanded money. The male then fled the business with an undetermined amount of money.
Investigation into these robberies led to the arrest of a 37 year-old Regina male on August 6, 2018.
Thirty-seven year-old William David JAMIESON, of Regina, is charged with:
- 2 x Robbery [344(1)(B) CC];
- 2 x Fail to comply with conditions of undertaking [145 (5.1) CC].
JAMIESON appeared in court for these charges on Monday, August 7 at 9:30 a.m.
