On August 5, 2018 at approximately 6:00 p.m. police were dispatched to the 4100 block of Albert Street for a report of a business robbery. A suspect armed with a knife entered the business and demanded an amount of money. The suspect was able to obtain an unknown quantity of cash and fled the area on foot.
The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male, 30-35 years, heavy set, wearing a black and beige baseball hat, green t-shirt, beige khaki shorts, black flip flops, and carrying a knife.
Police are also investigating a second incident that occurred and is believed to be related. At approximately 10:45 p.m. police were dispatched to the 3800 block of Albert Street for a report of a business robbery. A suspect entered the business and claimed to have a weapon. The suspect demanded an amount of money and was able to obtain an unknown quantity before exiting the premises. The suspect then left the area in a vehicle. The suspect matched the description from the previous robbery. There is no further information that can be released at this time.
