The Regina Police Service is conducting an investigation into a hit and run involving a motor vehicle and a child on a bicycle that occurred Monday evening on 14th Avenue and the west alley of McAra Street.
Police were dispatched to 14th Avenue and the west alley of McAra Street at approximately 6:10 p.m. on Monday July 30, 2018. Preliminary investigation indicates a silver, white or tan colored sedan was east bound on 14th Avenue when a nine year-old boy on a bicycle was riding south bound in the west alley of McAra Street. The boy rode the bike out onto 14th Avenue where he was struck on the back tire of the bike. The suspect vehicle continued east bound on 14th Avenue without stopping.
EMS attended and determined the boy was not injured.
