As a result of ongoing investigation, a 28 year-old Regina male has been charged in an Attempted Murder case from November, 2017.
The charges stem from an investigation into a shooting incident on November 27, 2017. Through the course of this investigation, police learned that a 34 year-old male was walking in the 900 block of Retallack Street just before 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 27, 2018. A stolen vehicle drove near to the victim and he was shot by one of the occupants of the vehicle. The victim sustained serious injuries that still greatly affect his health and daily life. Investigation into this event has been complex. One of the developments in this investigation has been the arrest of a male alleged to have played a role in the attempted murder of the victim. The male was arrested on June 23, 2018.
Twenty-eight year-old Timothy Mitchell LOUISON, of Regina, is charged with:
- Attempt to Commit Murder Using a Firearm, [239(1)(a.1) CC]; and
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5,000, [355(a) CC].
LOUISON made his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 25, 2018.
