The Regina Police Service would like to congratulate all graduates of the 2017-2018 school year. You’ve worked hard and persevered through your high school years. In addition to earning your high school diploma, you’ve gained great friendships, shared laughs, and made lasting memories. Be proud of your accomplishments.
During this time of celebrating, there will be many graduation festivities and after-parties. The Regina Police Service would like to use this opportunity to remind everyone to drive safely: do not drink and drive, and do not text and drive.
If you drink, secure a safe ride home. You can call a taxi, ride a bus, call a parent or a friend. Put your cell phone in the glove compartment, in a bag, in the back seat, or turn it off. Keep the roads, the people around you, and yourselves safe. Anyone who witnesses an impaired driver or knows of someone who is going to drive while impaired, is asked to immediately call 9-1-1. Thank you to all the designated drivers for helping our young people get home safely.
Congrats, class of 2018!
