The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, is investigating a fatal motor vehicle/pedestrian collision that occurred yesterday evening (Friday, June 22, 2018) in the 200 block of Sunset Drive. A 15 year-old male is deceased as a result of this event.
On Friday June 22, 2018, at 10:41 p.m., police were dispatched to the 200 block of Sunset Drive for a report of a single motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian. EMS attended and transported the victim to hospital where he was confirmed deceased. The next-of-kin of the 15 year-old victim have been notified of his death but his name will not be released by the Regina Police Service at this time.
