On Monday, May 28th, 2018, at approximately 11:58 pm, police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Cameron Street for a report of an abandoned stolen vehicle. While dealing with the stolen vehicle, the police officers were approached by a confrontational male carrying an object in his hand. The suspect began to challenge police verbally and suddenly pointed what appeared to be a firearm at the two police officers.
The firearm ended up being an air soft gun that had the appearance of a real firearm. After a brief struggle police were able to disarm the suspect and arrest him in a safe manner.
MICHAEL DAVID BLUEEYES (1990/10/14) was charged with assault police officer with a firearm x2, breach of probation X2, breach of firearms prohib order x2, and had 5 warrants for his arrest executed as well.
BLUEEYES will attend court on May 29th, 2018.
