Police have cleared the scene, and all traffic lanes on Arcola are now open.

The Regina Police Service is currently on scene at Arcola Avenue East and the Highway 1 Bypass investigating a collision involving a motor vehicle and a bicycle. One male has been taken to hospital with injuries described as serious.
Police were dispatched at 11:49pm on April 26th to Arcola Avenue East, east of Ring Road. Currently, members of Patrol, Forensic Identification, and collision reconstructionists and analysts from the Traffic Safety Unit are investigating the scene. As this investigation is in its early stages, no further information is available at this time.
Due to the need to protect the scene and collect evidence, westbound lanes of Arcola Avenue East are closed to traffic between University Park Drive and the onramp to northbound Ring Road until further notice. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
