Members of Regina Police Service Emergency Services Teams have been deployed in the execution of a high-risk search warrant today, April 19, 2018, as part of ongoing investigation.
Police teams, which include the Special Weapons and Tactics, or SWAT, as well as Crisis Negotiator teams are deployed at the area of the 1000 block of Wascana Street.
The Regina Police Service is asking other members of the public to please, if possible, keep a reasonable distance away from the 1000 block of Wascana Street (well outside the police perimeter) until the situation has been safely resolved.
It’s expected there will be further details as to charges as the investigation progresses. There are no other details for release at this time.
