On Thursday, April 19, 2018, at approximately 8:45 p.m., police executed a high risk search warrant at a residence on the 1000 block of Wascana Street as a result of an ongoing investigation. The high risk search warrant execution involved Patrol, Canine, Crisis Negotiators and SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics). The investigation is in its early stages and further information will follow. There is no longer a police presence in the area and there should be no disruptions for schools in the area or the students walking to school on Friday morning.
