Update: SWAT and CNT have cleared the scene. Five occupants have exited the house and the building is clear. A criminal investigation is ongoing. (11:25 am – April 12 2018)
The Regina Police Service is at the scene of an emergency services call with the goal of negotiating a safe resolution with the current occupants of a house in the 400 block McIntyre Street to exit and talk with police. The Regina Police Service has Crisis Negotiators and members of the Special Weapons and Tactics Team focused on the house. Patrol is holding a safety perimeter and this is affecting traffic in the area.
We are asking that motorists choose an alternate route if they are able.
