A 30 year-old male is facing numerous charges related to recent Break and Enters in Regina. These offences occurred between March 24th and April 5, 2018:
March 24, 2018 – at approximately 1:44 a.m., a male suspect entered an apartment building in the 100 block Rose Street North. It appears the suspect used a pry bar to gain entry. Property from a common room on main floor of the building was stolen.
March 25, 2018 – at approximately 9:21 p.m., police received a report that a television had been forcibly removed from the common area of an apartment building in the 100 block Rose Street North. Investigation indicates a male suspect used tools to gain entry to the building.
March 25-26, 2018 – police received a report of a break and enter, sometime during the night, to a property management company in the 4000 block of Gordon Road. Numerous post-dated rent cheques were stolen, along with a computer, docking station, a phone and various master keys for other apartment buildings. The management company was able to advise people to cancel their cheques.
April 3, 2018 – police received a report that an apartment complex in the 6200 block of Rochdale Boulevard had been broken into. Three laptop computers, a microwave and building keys were stolen.
On April 5, 2018 at 4:43 a.m., a 30 year old male, who’d been identified as a viable suspect, was located by police, in the area of 4th Avenue and Argyle Street. In the initial arrest attempt, the male tried to run and then got into a brief physical altercation with the officer. Investigation into these related files led to charges against the male.
Thirty year-old Tyson Thomas KEHOE, of Regina, is charged with:
– 4 x Break & Enter With Intent to Commit and Indictable Offence, s. 348(1)(a) CC;
– 5 x Breach of Probation, s. 733.1(1) CC;
– 3 x Possession of Break-in Instruments, s. 351(1) CC; and
– Resist Arrest, s. 129(a) CC.
KEHOE made his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018.
