The Regina Police Service is conducting an investigation into a suspicious package incident, after receiving word today, Thursday, March 1, 2018, at 7:20 am, of a suspicious package left, sometime overnight, on the sidewalk in the 1700 block Hamilton Street.
Currently the 1700 block of Hamilton Street has been shut down to both pedestrian and vehicle traffic, including all lanes along the 1700 block of Hamilton Street. Regina Police Service members, including the Explosives Disposal Unit (EDU) are currently on scene.
This investigation is ongoing. Anyone who may have information to assist police is asked to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
