At about 0100 hours on Wednesday, February 15, 2018, police were dispatched to the Pasqua Hospital to speak with a male who was injured during a robbery that had occurred near 0030 hours in the 1400 block of Robinson Street. The victim was walking in an alley when he was approached by three males, one of which was brandishing a machete. The victim was struck with the machete and suffered a cut to his left forearm as a result. The victim then had some personal items taken from him by the three suspects that then fled from the scene.
The victim was released from hospital with non-life threatening injuries. There are currently no suspects in custody related to the robbery, however the investigation is ongoing.
