The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public to assist an investigation into a weapons offence in the 1100 block Argyle Street earlier this evening.
Police were dispatched at 2006 hrs today, February 9, 2018, to a residence in the 1100 block Argyle Street to investigate the report of a male being shot. Upon arriving, patrol members found a male with an apparent gunshot wound. Police secured the scene as part of a criminal investigation.
An investigation is now underway to determine the sequence of events leading up to the shooting, and to identify the suspect(s). At this stage of the investigation, there are no other details available for release. The injured male was transported to hospital for treatment.
