The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, is conducting a death investigation after the discovery of a deceased male.
Police were dispatched at approximately 8:26 p.m., on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, to the 1000 block of Retallack Street for a report of an injured male who was lying outside a residence. Police and EMS attended and located an adult male, who was confirmed deceased. Officers secured the immediate area and requested the additional resources of the Major Crimes and Forensic Identification units, as well as the Coroner. A number of investigative processes are underway, including identification of the deceased male and notification of his next of kin.
Police are working in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner to fully investigate and clarify the circumstances surrounding this death.
