On January 8, 2018, at approximately 7:10 am, police were dispatched to the area of 7th Avenue and Arthur Street for the report of a motor vehicle incident involving two vehicles, one of which was a school bus.
Police arrived to find eight students and a bus driver on the bus, none of whom were injured. The other vehicle believed to be involved in the incident was sitting stationary in the shoulder of the westbound lane of 7th Avenue, abandoned, running and in gear, with airbags deployed. The driver, believed to be a male, had left the scene on foot.
