The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public to assist an investigation into a weapons offence in the 900 block Retallack Street earlier today.
Police were dispatched at 1558 hours today, November 27, 2017, to the 900 block Retallack Street to investigate the report of a male being shot. Upon arriving, patrol members found that a male with an apparent gunshot wound had already gone to hospital for medical attention. Police secured the outdoor scene as part of a criminal investigation.
An investigation is now underway to determine the sequence of events leading up to the shooting, and to identify the suspect(s). At this stage of the investigation, there are no details available for release.
