A 39 year-old Regina male is charged with assault after an incident early this morning (Tuesday, September 5, 2017).
At approximately 2:18 a.m. on September 5, 2017, police were called to a domestic conflict on Fairview Road. The victim, an adult female, was located outside the residence and was transported to hospital by EMS for minor injuries. A male was located at a nearby park by a K9 unit and was apprehended into police custody.
A thirty-nine year-old Regina male (whose name will not be released so as to protect the victim) is charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm (Spousal) [Sec 267(B), CC]. The male made his first court appearance on this charge in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2017.
