On Saturday, July 14, 2017, at approximately 1:57a.m., police received a call for a firearms offence in the 2000 block of Princess Street. Police responded and immediately set up a perimeter around a residence and began their investigation.
At approximately 4:30a.m., the use of Crisis Negotiators and SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics), were authorized and attended to the location to assist with the investigation. At 6:15 a.m., occupants of the residence exited and were taken into custody without incident. The investigation is in its early stages and further information will follow. It should be noted there are no further traffic restrictions in the area.
