At approximately 7:58a.m., on Sunday, April 23, 2017, police were dispatched to the Pasqua Hospital at 4101 Dewdney Avenue, for a report of a male who attended for treatment of a bullet wound. After a preliminary investigation, it is believed the male was injured as a result of firearm discharge. The injuries are considered non-life threatening. It is believed the offence may have occurred in the area of Dewdney Avenue and Cameron Street. There are currently no suspects in custody, however the investigation is ongoing.
