April 9th – 15th, 2017, is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, and we want to extend a thank you to the people on the other end of the line when you call 9-1-1, asking questions, taking information, dispatching the resources, and providing reassurance.
During this week, Telecommunicators from across the province (Regina Police, Saskatoon Police, Prince Albert Police, RCMP, Fire, and EMS) will gather for training and a banquet in Saskatoon. The Regina Police Service Shift 3 Communications Centre Team has been nominated for an Excellence in Teamwork Award for their work on multiple big projects, as well as their commitment to their job and to the officers they work with every day.
National Telecommunicators Week is April 9th to 15th, 2017. For more information on Regina Police Service Communication Centre, please visit our website at https://www.reginapolice.ca/about-us/community-services-division/communication-centre/
