A male and female have been charged after an Emergency Services call-out on the 1900 block of Rupert Street on Thursday, March 23, 2017.
On March 23, 2017 members of the Regina Police Service conducted a search warrant at a business on the 1900 block of Rupert Street, as part of an investigation into possession of weapons and trafficking of drugs. Due to the nature of the call (potential weapons) authorization was obtained for a Special Teams call-out which involved members from the Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT) Unit, plain clothes officers, and patrol members. Four people exited the building without further incident, and of these, a forty-six year-old male and a thirty-nine year-old female were charged.
Forty-six year-old Gregory Troy HAMILTON (DOB: 1970/07/15), of Regina, is charged with:
• Possession of a Scheduled Substance [Sec 4(1), CDSA];
• Two charges of Fail to Comply with Recognizance [Sec 145(3), CC];
• Two charges of Fail to Comply with Probation Order [Sec 733.1(1), CC].
HAMILTON made his first appearance in Provincial Court on these charges this morning, Friday, March 24, 2017, at 9:30 a.m.
Thirty-nine year-old Julie Michelle LANGLEY (DOB: 1977/06/29), of Regina, is charged with:
• Possession of a Scheduled Substance [Sec 4(1), CDSA];
• Fail to Comply with Probation Order [Sec 733.1(1), CC].
LANGLEY was released by Officer’s Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on these charges on Tuesday, April 25, 2017.
