Charges have been laid in connection with the fatal hit-and-run collision on Ross Avenue, which occurred on the night of January 29, 2017, in which 42 year-old Jamey GALLON, DOB: 1974-09-27, of Regina, was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle.
Investigation determined that the vehicle in this incident was a Ford F-150, and a vehicle description was issued to the public. Further investigation led to a 37 year-old male, who was arrested and charged. When police arrived at the male’s home, they observed firearms stored in an unsafe manner and charged the male accordingly.
Thirty-seven year-old Elijah J BEROS (1979/03/15), of Regina, is charged with failure to stop at scene of accident involving death [252.(1.3)(B) CC] and careless firearm storage [86(1) CC].
BEROS makes his first appearance in Provincial Court on these charges on March 15, 2017, at 9:30 a.m.
