The Regina Police Service is confirming the name of the deceased 42 year-old male who was the victim of an apparent hit-and-run collision on Ross Avenue, on Sunday night.
After completing notification of next-of-kin, the Regina Police Service confirms that the deceased person is 42 year-old Jamey GALLON, DOB: 1974-09-27, of Regina. It’s believed Mr. GALLON was operating a bicycle on Ross Avenue when he was struck by an as-yet-unknown vehicle. The driver fled the scene in the vehicle before police or EMS arrived. GALLON was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Regina Police Service Major Crimes unit is leading the investigation to locate the vehicle and driver.
