Four males have been arrested and a firearm recovered in an incident this afternoon in the area of 5th Avenue and Angus Street.
On September 1, 2016, at approximately 1:34 p.m., police were dispatched to the 3500 block of 5th Avenue for the report of a firearms offence. Police arrived and located four individuals, matching the description of the suspects obtained from the complainant and witnesses. The males, one youth and three adults, were taken into custody without incident. A loaded shotgun and a can of bear spray was recovered. No one was injured in this incident. At this time, investigation is continuing to determine what roles these individuals played, if any. Charges are pending the outcome of this investigation.
