The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, is continuing to investigate the deaths of two males, whose bodies were found in a Regina residence yesterday, August 17, 2016.
At approximately 3:59 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, police were dispatched to a house in the 700 block of Retallack Street after the Communication Centre received a call of a male who was not breathing and unresponsive. When police units arrived they located two adult males in the residence who were confirmed deceased by EMS. Police officers checked the rest of the residence, secured the scene and requested the Coroner and additional resources, including the Major Crimes Unit. The two deceased persons, ages 32 and 33, have been identified and their families have been notified of their deaths. Their names will not be released by the Regina Police Service at this time.
The Coroner has ordered autopsies, but as of this hour, these processes are still underway. There will no other information released to the public until more is known about the circumstances of the deaths of these individuals.
