At about 4:41pm on Saturday August 13, 2016, police were dispatched to a report of a street robbery that occurred in the 4200 block of Dewdney Avenue. Preliminary investigation revealed that an adult female
victim was approached by an unknown male and female. The female suspect took the victims mp3 player and ran off. The victim was able to catch the female suspect and get her device back but was assaulted by
both the female suspect and the male suspect in the process. The female victim was transported to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The female suspect is described as wearing a blue dress, brown shoulder length hair and carrying a black purse. The male suspect is described as a native male wearing a white shirt, ball cap, and having short hair.
Both suspects were last seen walking north across Dewdney Ave.
