The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, has begun an investigation of the death of a 32 year-old male. The investigation began with police dispatched at 10:07 a.m. on Saturday, July 16th, 2016, to the 4100 block of 2nd Avenue. The male was confirmed deceased at the scene. The Coroner was requested, along with members of the Forensic Identification and Major Crimes units, with Patrol assisting in scene control and investigative tasks.
The deceased male has been identified and officers are attempting to notify his next of kin. The Coroner has ordered an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death. This investigation will continue, in conjunction with the Officer of the Chief Coroner.
