A 52 year-old female is in hospital following a single-vehicle, motorcycle collision that occurred in Regina on Sunday, May 1, 2016.
On Sunday, May 1, 2016, at approximately 4:44 p.m., officers were dispatched to a report of a single-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Dewdney Avenue and Park Street. Members of Regina Fire and Protective Services and EMS also attended. EMS transported a female to hospital with injuries described as serious. Officers learned that, moments earlier, a motorcycle, operated by a 52 year-old female, was westbound on Dewdney Avenue, attempting to turn northbound onto Park Street, when it collided with a light pole. There were no other vehicles involved in this incident and police have also determined that alcohol was not a factor in this collision.
The female victim remains in hospital and police continue to investigate this incident.
