On Sunday, March 13th, 2016, at approximately 1:35 a.m. police were dispatched to a report of a weapons offence at a residence on the 1700 block of Wallace Street. Information received was that someone was assaulted.
A 26 year-old male victim was located and taken to hospital by EMS for treatment of his injuries and was later released. Investigation into the matter led to a 41 year-old male and 31 year-old female, who were arrested early this morning.
Forty-one year-old William Dean Brent MORGAN (DOB: 1975/01/31) of Regina, and thirty-one year-old Alison Irene MONEYBIRD (DOB: 1984/08/30) of Regina are charged with:
- Attempt to Commit Murder [Sec 239(1)(B), CC],
- Break Enter & Commit [Sec 348(1)(B), CC], and
- Fail to Comply with Probation Officer [Sec 733.1(1), CC].
MORGAN and MONEYBIRD will make their first appearances in Provincial Court on these charges on Wednesday, March 16th, 2016, at 9:30 a.m.
