A 31 year old female, 58 year old female, 55 year old female, and a 24year old female were transported to Hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a collision involving two vehicles occurred at the intersection of Lewvan Drive and 13th Ave. Another involved 60 year old female also attended to hospital herself with minor injuries but was not transported.
On Sunday March 6, 2016 at approximately 1425 hours the Regina Police Service responded to a collision which occurred at the intersection of Lewvan Drive and 13th Ave. Preliminary investigation determined that a vehicle travelling northbound on Lewvan Drive collided with a vehicle turning left from southbound Lewvan Drive to eastbound 13th Avenue. When the two vehicles made contact with eachother, the vehicle turning left came to a stop facing eastbound on 13th Ave, a rear seat passenger was ejected from the vehicle. She was transported to Hospital with serious but non –life threatening injuries. A second female passenger of this vehicle was transported to hospital with minor injuries. The northbound vehicle turned over onto its roof on impact, slid and struck the right curb for northbound traffic and then flipped back onto its wheels. Two female occupants of the northbound vehicle were also transported to hospital for minor injuries.
The cause of the collision is currently under investigation and charges are pending.
