A 33 year-old male and a 27 year-old female are facing numerous drug-related charges as the result of ongoing investigation into drug-trafficking in the City of Regina.
This investigation, by members of the Regina Integrated Drug Enforcement Team, led to evidence of a 33 year-old male and a 27 year- old female suspecting in trafficking a controlled substance in Regina. These individuals were arrested on February 25th, at a residence in south Regina. Investigators conducted a search warrant for a residence in the 500 block of University Park Drive and this search produced a significant quantity of cocaine as well as methamphetamine and an amount of Canadian currency.
Thirty-three year-old Andrew James PITTMAN, DOB: 1982-10-10, of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine) [Sec 5(2) CDSA];
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (methamphetamine) [Sec 5(2) CDSA];
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000 (Canadian currency) [Sec 355(b) CC];
- Fail to Comply with Recognizance [Sec 145(3) CC];
- Fail to Comply with Undertaking [Sec 145(3) CC].
Twenty-seven year-old Min Sun PARK, DOB: 1988-09-27, of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine) [Sec 5(2) CDSA];
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (methamphetamine) [Sec 5(2) CDSA];
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000 (Canadian currency) [Sec 355(b) CC];
- Fail to Comply with Undertaking [Sec 145(3) CC].
Both accused made their first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2016.
