On Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at approximately 7:02 p.m. Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of
Halifax Street for a report of a break and enter in progress. When police arrived, they learned that the
break and enter was the result of a previous altercation that had occurred outside of that address. In the course of that altercation, a 33 year male was assaulted and injured. Police located the 33 year old male victim at the hospital. He had sustained significant injuries as a result of being assaulted with a weapon. The male’s injuries were serious, but non-life-threatening. This incident is still under investigation and charges are pending.
