The Regina Police Service Traffic section is investigating a three-vehicle collision that occurred this morning, Wednesday, January 13, 2016, just before 8:44 a.m., on the Ring Road, near Ross Avenue.
Preliminary investigation indicates a vehicle, north-bound on the Ring Road crossed the centre median into the sound-bound lanes, coming into collision with two south-bound vehicles. The north-bound vehicle was operated by an adult female who was taken to hospital by EMS with injuries described as relatively minor. A male youth in the same vehicle was unharmed. The drivers of the two south-bound vehicles were also unhurt. All three vehicles had to be towed from the scene. Regina Fire and Protective Services attended for a fuel-spill cleanup. Traffic flow returned to normal once the scene was clear.
This collision is still under investigation so it is not yet known if any charges may result.
