The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner, is continuing its investigation into the death of a Regina male, which occurred this past weekend.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, December 19, 2015, police were dispatched to a residence in the 1000 block of Argyle Street in Regina for a report of a deceased male. Police and EMS attended and the male was confirmed deceased. Patrol members requested the Coroner, secured the scene and notified members of the Major Crimes and Forensic Identification units. The deceased person has been identified and his next of kin have been notified. He is a 34 year-old Regina male; however his name will not be released by the Regina Police Service at this time. Police will continue to hold the scene until more is known through investigation.
The Regina Police Service is continuing to investigate in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner. There are no other details for release at this time.
