After further investigation, the Regina Police Service is clarifying the account of the armed robbery that took place this morning that was the subject of an earlier release.
At approximately 9:47 am police were dispatched to a financial institution on the 5800 block of Rochdale Boulevard for a report of a robbery in progress.
Video footage has confirmed that there was only one suspect involved, not two, as previously reported. One masked male suspect, armed with a shotgun, entered the bank and demanded cash. He then left on foot towards the rear of the building with an undisclosed amount of cash in a black duffel bag. There was no vehicle or di
rection of travel witnessed from there. No one was injured in this incident.
The suspect is described as approximately 5’10”, slim build, wearing a green hat with black rim, and a dark grey hoodie. His hood was up and mouth and nose were masked during the incident.
