The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public to assist in an investigation into a purse snatching that occurred early morning on Monday, November 16th, 2015.
On Monday, November 16th, police received a report of a purse snatching that had occurred at approximately 4:00 a.m. in the 1700 block of Montreal Street. The preliminary investigation indicates a pale suspect took the purse of a female victim. The purse was in her hands and she was pushed to the ground in the incident. The suspect is described as male, approximately 5’7” tall, wearing a hat and a yellow jacket. The suspect fled south, then west, on foot.
This incident is still under investigation.
