Police Investigate Aggravated Assault Incident

On Saturday, November 14, 2015 at approximately 0446 a.m. police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Abbott Street for a report that a male had been assaulted. Police attended and located a 24 year old male who had sustained significant injuries as a result of being assaulted with a weapon. He was transported to hospital by Emergency Medical Services with serious, but non-life threatening, injuries and is reported to be in stable condition. There is no further information that can be provided at this time.
